Palo Santo is a sacred tree that grows in  South America. Palo Santo means Wood of the Saints or Sacred Wood. It is used by shamans in ritual prayer, ceremonies and healing. It smells amazing, and repels insects. As aromatherapy it uplifts and alleviates nausea. The smoke captures negative energy and moves it out of the space while offering protection. It is great to burn during meditation.
 
White Sage is rich in compounds that activate certain receptors in the brain. These receptors are responsible for elevating mood, reducing stress, and even support alleviating pain. 
 
When pulling air in with your hand or feather, moving in a counterclockwise direction moves negativity out. Moving the air in a clockwise direction helps with manifesting.
