On a Cape Cod beach, Donna created an ephemeral artwork.
This spiral echoes the ancient carvings and boundary trenches (cursus) of Ireland’s sacred Megalithic sites. Dug at low tide and activated by ceremony, the Spiral was slowly erased by the rising sea, embodying loss and transformation. As a symbol of cycles, continuity, and return, the spiral became an act of remembrance and resilience, honoring the enduring legacy of her ancestors.

Donna Troy Cleary reclaims a rich history and knowledge base, grounded in traditional healing practices and mixed with the scientific insights of the 21st century.
